Water mill was built in the end of 18th century, in the centre of Pilsrundāle and belonged to Rundāle manor. The watermill has experienced two devastating fires during its operation time. After several efforts, the operation of Rundāle watermill was restored and in the 20th century, precisely in the 1930s, when Voldemārs Bergmanis became the owner. The building has had extensive economic and household activities. Along with the process of the grain, there was also carpentry, wool processing and fruit processing. Even today, already in the fourth generation, Rundāle watermill belongs to the Bergman family.
They offer SUP boards, row boats, water bikes and canoe boats with all equipment rental in the tank of the watermill (currently booking in advance is mandatory!).
